Weakness is a state of low energy that is characterized by psychological or physiological tiredness. Weakness can be related to various problems, such as sleep disorders, long-term stress or flu. Foods that we consume during the day are processed by our bodies to provide energy for the daily activities. Inadequate nutrition can cause weakness since the required energy cannot be provided. By consuming the right foods, you can increase your energy and get rid of weakness.

1. Protein

Protein is main source of energy for the muscles. Foods that contain a high amount of protein and that are rich in tyrosine increase the production of norepinephrine and dopamine, thereby providing motivation and alertness. But, frequently consuming protein sources like beef and egg can elevate the level of bad cholesterol, doing more harm than good. Instead, you can consume alternative foods like chicken or beans.
